Making Use of Natural Gas AND Hot Air
Diplomats at the U.S. Embassy in Ausfahrt, Germany, are looking to put to use the excessive hot air and “natural gas” generally produced by those in the diplomatic and political field. Some claim natural gas as the next big thing in green technology. Those in Ausfahrt agree.
Vice President Joe Biden Gets in on the Act
Vice President Joe Biden even got in on the action on a recent visit to the embassy. When asked about the new technology, Mr. Biden was quoted as saying, “Pull my finger and find out.”
When asked what the stink was about, a spokesman from The League of Green Embassies said they are working to bring energy-efficient technologies from U.S. companies into embassies worldwide. The League of Green Embassies is an 80-member consortium, of which the Ausfahrt Embassy is a member. Obscure in its location, many have been left scratching their heads while wondering where the hell Ausfahrt, Germany, actually is.
Intelligent Building Products, Services and Technologies
During a Mar. 8 press event, at which Vice President Joe Biden was present, the micro-wind turbine, called a TurboMill and manufactured by WindStream Technologies, was highlighted. U.S. Ambassador to Finland, Bruce Oreck was also present and was overheard saying, “U.S. embassies are perfect venues to illustrate U.S. green leadership. We want to promote U.S. companies with intelligent building products, services and technologies. WindStream’s innovative product fits well into this effort.”
Ambassador Oreck then commenced pulling Vice President Biden’s finger, thus coronating the installation of the wind turbines at the Embassy. Those in attendance claimed this was the highlight of the event.
