Gulf of Mexico Property of BP?
In response to the declaration by the U.S. that they are considering “pushing BP out of the way” in reference to the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, BP has responded by filing paperwork indicating the waters in the Gulf of Mexico are so enriched with “BP’s oil” that all the water therein should be considered property of the giant oil corporation and, by extension, part of Great Britain.
BP Executives Sing 'Hail Britain'
When asked for comment, executives of BP responded by singing “Rule, Britannia!”
