Sarah Palin's Tea Party Blunder

Sarah Palin's tea party nearly lost its leader today when Mrs. Palin heard the term “Texas tea” to describe the oil flooding into the Gulf of Mexico. Mistaking it for an unusual form of Texas fundraiser, she and a few hundred of her followers travelled via boat out into the Gulf. 

The boat, supplied by a Tea Party member, became lost and ended up off the coast of Cuba where they were boarded by a Cuba Border Patrol crew. 

Cuba Gets a Good Laugh at US' Expense

After a short conversation with the patrol’s captain, they were set back on the correct course to the United States. Unnamed Cuban sources stated that the boat commander was commended publically for causing the most damage to the U.S. by Cuba in decades.
