Running Your Furnace Fan Full Time Costs Extra Money


There is a setting on your furnace for running the fan constantly.  The fan is not designed to run constantly and should be set to automatic.  Running the fan full time could cost you more than $100 per year and should not be needed.  Most people know that this feature is on the their thermostat, this is just a reminder to make sure it has not been bumped or set by accident while setting up your programmable thermostat.
