Lonely Singles Don't Have to Be Lonely Any More!
According to recent reports, French-based energy company Coeur Solaire is putting the finishing touches on a handy little gadget just in time for Valentine's Day. We were invited to a sneak peak by Jacque, one of the project’s lead engineers.
“We just wanted to show the world that we understand the misery and pain of all those lonely, depressed singles who can’t find love for even this one day a year. We wanted to find a way to harness this pain and bring light into these dull lives. Literally. Now you have a reason to be proud of being alone on Valentine’s Day,” explains Jacque.

French Amour and Ingenuity Gives Hallmark Something to Think About
This marvelous piece of French amour and ingenuity gives those who are alone on this Hallmark holiday something to be smug about. While lovers are committing grotesque exhibits of PDA in movie theaters and restaurants, you can sit at home lighting your own life and lowering your bills.
But how does this clever gadget work?
We had a first hand demonstration of this lovely little device in action - er, conversion. It looks like a miniature voodoo doll that plugs into an electrical socket after...charging it. It takes only a matter of minutes, or if you are feeling particularly lonely a few dozen seconds (as we saw with my doll). Look longingly at the doll, as if it were a lost love, and it will do the rest. By reading your pulse and the brain waves transmitted through the tremors of your lonesome hands, this doll changes from a sickening Valentine’s pink to a glowing blue, indicating it is fully charged. Plug it in and enjoy the sunny LED glow of your own emotions.
Tapping Into the Power of Loneliness
Wrapping up the demonstration, Jacque gives us some tantalizing information about the next steps for this device,“We are working on a model that can hook right up to the HVAC system, which would be particularly useful in the winter when you have no one to warm you. The possibilities are endless, just like the loneliness of those who power them.”
