8th Energy Sends Recovery Thoughts Disaster Victims

We at 8th Sister would like to express our sadness for the losses and the experiences of horror resulting from the catastrophic tsunami yesterday.  We also wish to express our support for the recovery process.  It is a long road and we wish them god speed.

When you watch the videos of the event and observe the pure devastation many think the horror stops there.  It does not.

There are wounded of course, people trapped, and no access by the standard emergency response teams due to the floods and damage.  To make matters worse, the water itself is not only sea water, so it is corrosive and generally foul, it also now carries with it all the chemicals, debris and garbage it picked up along the way.  This makes the water fairly toxic stuff which leaves nasty debris and junk everywhere as it recedes.

How Can People Help Japan's Disaster Victims?

In this event there are locations where the water has not receded, resulting in large ponds of toxic water where there once were villages.

No country is every fully prepared for something of this magnitude, they will require assistance from all of us to recover and take care of the thousands of homeless.  We would very much appreciate your comments describing how individuals who are far away can help with the recovery process.
