The car of tomorrow will run on crap. From the creator of the Microsoft OS comes the newest innovation in clean energy, or should that be dirty energy? The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are funding research into the prospect of using human waste as an energy source to fuel our cars.


When asked if this was truly happening and not a joke, a member of the project at the University of Calgary’s Schulich School of Engineering was quoted as saying, “No shit.”

It is projected that the new cars will have a detachable toilet that can be stowed in the trunk when not in use. Gone are the days when one must walk miles to the nearest gas station when the fuel tank unexpectantly runs dry.


Now you only need to pop on the fiberglass toilet seat and go to town. A small privacy curtain can be purchased as an optional add-on.
